Description

• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders efficiently.
• Perform inspections, fluid flushes, oil changes, and tires (mount & balance)
• Provide labour (time) estimates and parts required for additional automotive repairs.
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs, in a non-technical manner to advisors and or customers when asked
• Learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to keep up with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Inspect and test vehicles, and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made
• Properly log in and out of your workday, as well as your current vehicles and assigned work

Requirements

• 4th year automotive apprenticeship or Red Seal preferred
• Minimum 2 years of previous experience in the automotive service industry
• Knowledge of both import & domestic vehicles
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume shop
• Dealership experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Must have a clean & valid driver's license
• Team-oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Working knowledge shop equipment & tools such as wheel & tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, etc.
• Red Seal Certified (Preferred but not required)
• Knowledge of PBS operating system is an asset but not required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $37.00-$42.00 per hour
